Cahill not for sale - Coyle

Post by jayjay23 on Wed Jan 13, 2010 5:46 am

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle insists Gary Cahill is not for sale.
Coyle confirmed he will not be pressed into selling Cahill, with the £15million-rated centre-back having been linked with the likes of Manchester City and Everton.
He said: "We don't have to sell anybody to generate a transfer budget.
"I am looking at Gary Cahill and I believe if he shows the qualities he has, then he can make the England World Cup squad.
"That is a motivation for him. He is a top player and hopefully we will see him at his very best here."

Sounds like a good thing to me!

Plus add that to the idea that he wants to look at all our players suggests he sees enough quality within the squad to do something with it whilst not sacrificing our best assetts.

Selling Cahill would make Coyle's work doubly hard.
