Fans' Forum with Coyle & Gartside

Post by bigsamsarmyusa on Fri Jan 15, 2010 7:11 pm

Get your tickets and get to the Fans Forum and discuss everything with Gartside and Coyle. Here's the link to the info:

http://www.bwfc.co.uk/page/General/0,,1004~1933417,00.html

If you don't go and participate, you can't complain that the club aren't listening. The article says this will be the first of many.

Apparently at Burnley Coyle was very committed to communicating with the fans, will make a nice change.

It all seems a very back slapping, look how good we are move. Gartside has done good and now he wants to soak up the plaudits. Fair play but I'll be giving it a miss.

knowing Owen Coyle like I do...... I would think it was his call to do the forum, not Gartsides..... when Owen was a player here.... he was often seen around town at different events with the fans....! thats one of the reasons he is loved by the fans here and visa versa.....!

Meh! We haven't achieved fuck all yet. Lets hold a forum in the summer when we have a solid idea of how the club can progress and move forward.

If we ask Owen his plans for the club and he states, quite admirably and honestly, that he wants to get us finishing between 8-12th and as close to the big speniding club as possible and we promotly get relegated, that may put his plans on hold.

It may have been Coyle's idea and it seems more thna likely from what you've said, but the fans are already onside and I struggle to see what it will accomplish. That said, if we get a win from either Arsenal game, I'll happily buy a ticket and ask Mr Coyle if I can kiss his feet.

There has been more than enough talking. He has said all the right things and credit to him for that. His charisma and enthusiasm is infectious and he has certainly given the place a lift. However, we're still in the bottom three and we haven't done anything yet. Let's hope all the goods words translate out on the pitch.
